Bernd, some time ago I asked:

So who is producing this time, and where is it being recorded?

"Enlighten..." was recorded at Woodhouse Studios, engineered by Mathias Klinkmann, mixed by Dan Diamond, and produced by Siggi Bemm & Angel Dust - nearly exactly the same for "Border...", "Bleed" and "Of Human Bondage", so it would be interesting to know if you are continuing in this same tradition...

I really think that "Enlighten..." hit the most perfect sound clarity, volume level, instrument mix - everything - to me it sounds one of the best productions I've ever heard, it beats the hell out of just about any metal album I can think of for pure sound quality and balance. In fact, I can't think of a better production (amazing, too, that it still sounds so raw and hard edged - keeping all the volatile energy of the original sounds without becoming "over-produced" like Def Leppard or something!). I am not a fan of the same-sounding (soft+boring) Paeth/Miro productions that so many bands have used in recent years.

Are you recording again at Woodhouse? I really hope the new album will have similar sonic quality to "Enlighten..." - have you been using the same equipment? I got the impression from previous interviews that you have a lot of studio equipment yourself, and in one of your posts you said, "in fact Dirk just left the studio here" so I thought maybe you have it nearby/at home.

If you could you shed some light on the actual production of the new album, that would be great. I'm really interested to know more about the technical side of the process.

Also how do you go about making new music? I mean does Steven come up with a theme, or you a riff, Dirk some lyrics - or is there no particular order that things happen, or method that you employ to write new songs? Where/how do you guys find your inspiration?

The new album, will be recorded in my studio, but in fact it is a small copy of the Woodhouse studio.
I shared a lot of experience from recording and working in the Woodhouse and recording session guitar work i did for Siggi Bemm .
So after playing with Running Wild, I took my money and built it on my own.. basically same gear plus improvements and the Woodhouse Sound Engineers, Klinkmann and Dennis Koehne are working for us as well....

So you can expect a sonical event Cool
